Ronnie rig is more of complex rig using multiple swivels to create the rig. The Ronnie Rig can act natural due to the swivels. It can reset itself if feeding carp are brushing over it. This is one of our go to rigs.
Take your quick change swivel and carefully open the clip. This can be difficult. We suggest you use something flat and blunt NOT a knife!
Put the end of the quick change through the eye of your hook. This also can be difficult.
Take some heat shrink tubing making sure it is from the base of the shank of the hook to the bottom of the barrel on the swivel. It is important not to cover the bottom of the barrel as it will restrict the movement of the bait. Shrink the tubing over the kettle making sure yo don’t burn yourself!
Take another quick change swivels and clip the quick change end to the swivel on your hook. This can be tricky.
Final step is tie some main hook link line to attach to your lead.
There you have it. Your first Ronnie rig
